Scott Valentine:
Scott (Scotty) the thunder behind the mountain. This salty old road rat has knocked around the music business for years and has been exposed to many different styles and situations from the studio to the concert hall and every where in between. When he hefts his behemoth six string bass to his shoulder you know your in for a ride with a sound a style all his own. When he closes his eyes and locks with Ruben the groove is like a runaway train that can transform from an unstopable pocket; into a soaring solo. With his imposing stature and his bag of chop, this guy can fill the room.

Cush Read:
A staple performer in the Poconos since arriving in1970, his first gig was playing on the docks in Key Biscayne at the age of 12 before coming north. It is virtually impossible to list the people hes played with over the years before hooking up with the current version of Thunder Mountain. With a passion for blues and well versed in rock, funk and many other styles as well as a prolific song writer, he brings the band to a focus that is easy to recognize and hard to ignore.
